On the occasion of the New Year and welcoming the Lunar New Year Tan Mao 2011, on behalf of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Public Security (MoPS), and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, I cordially sent the best New Year congratulation to all commanders, officers, non-commissioned officers, soldiers, workers, employees, students, retirees, invalids and sick soldiers as well as relatives of martyrs in the police force; commune police, and security guards in civil areas, agencies, business.
Dear, Comrades!
In 2010, Vietnamese socio-economic situation continues developing comprehensively, basically fulfills the proposed general targets including stabilizing the politics, recovering and growing relatively the economy; guaranteeing the socio-security, keeping firmly the national defense, security and social order. Vietnam has undertaken excellently position of ASEAN Chairman in 2010 and our country’s role and position have been enhanced increasingly in the international arena.
In the field of ensuring security and order, the police force has carried out well advisory function for the Party, the State, authority at all levels in implementing synchronically many great policies, solutions and work programs; actively prevented and fought effectively against plots and operations “peace process” of hostile forces; promoted attacks and crackdown on crime; enhanced the state’s management on security and order, protected absolutely safety for the State’s major events, especially the Grand Celebration of the 1000th Anniversary of Thang Long-Ha Noi, the Party Congress at all levels, towards the 11th National Party Congress, the ASEAN Summit, which contribute to maintaining political stability and serve effectively duties of socio-economic development and foreign affairs of the country.
In 2010, the police force continues promoting the movement “For national security” associated with implementing the campaign “study and follow Ho Chi Minh’s moral example – the police wholeheartedly serves the people”, organizing well activities making 65th Anniversary of National Day of the police force , five years of festival “All people protect national security”, taking many policies and measures to build the spotless and strong police force in all aspects, which fulfills all assigned duties.
Entering the New Year 2011, the first year of implementation of the Resolution 11th Congress of the Party and the socio-economic development strategy in the 2011-2020 period, along with opportunities and advantages, we also face many difficulties and challenges; the duties of protecting security and order as well as building the police force are extremely heavy, requiring the police force must cooperate closely with the People’s Army, all units, and departments at central and local level; each of the units, officials and soldiers has to heighten the sense of responsible, be active, creative, and determine to fulfill excellently duties entrusted by the Party, State and the people.
